Students will learn the fundamentals of long-form improvisation
including: agreement, active listening, playing characters, playing
truthfully and to the top of your intelligence and group mind.
Understanding the fundamentals will be achieved through exercises and
scene work in class.
Course meets for 8 sessions, each 2 hours long.
online course uses Google Classroom and Google Meet programs to conduct
live sessions with your instructor and fellow students.

Donald Chang, teacher
Donald is a Southern boy turned NYC writer, actor, and improvisor. You can see him on TV Land's "Younger", the feature film “Happy Cleaners”, as well as the webseries “[Blank] My Life”. His previous stage credits include Doctor Chang in John Pollono’s “Rules of Seconds” at Barebones Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA, the lead in Hudson Guild Theater’s “The Pearl Diver”, a supporting role in Walk Up Arts’ “A Play About Drew Carey” and Young Ebeneezer Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol”. He’s written and performed pieces for Swamp Radio down in St. Augustine, Florida and his pilot script “Sitting” earned semi-finalist in WeScreenplay’s Diverse Voices 2017.
