Advanced Study Improv Tuesdays 7-10pm
Advanced Study Improv: Specialized Long Form Workshop
|Prerequisites||Completion of 401; Acceptance to Advanced Study Improv|
|Start Date||Jan 8, 2019, 7:00pm|
|Class Size||16 students|
|Sessions||8 sessions, 3 hours each|
|Performance||Mar 3, 2019, 5:30pm|
This class is all about scene work. Whether it's a Harold, Pretty Flower, Deconstruction...good shows are made up of great scenes. We'll work on pulling fun ideas from an opening and initiating them clearly, finding new ways to approach first and second beats of a Harold and making strong choices in organic improv. Increase your strengths and develop your weaknesses. This class will focus primarily on Harold first beat scenes (two person, 3-5 mins in length, etc.) but the principals are universal.
Students will perform in one class performance at UCB Theatre Sunset.
Class meets at UCB Sunset Training Center; Room #231
IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE THE REFUND POLICY FOR ADVANCED STUDY COURSES. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS IF WITHDRAWAL REQUEST IS RECEIVED LESS THAN 1 FULL BUSINESS DAY PRIOR TO THE START OF COURSE.
All tuition payments include a $35 non-refundable registration processing fee.
If you successfully passed Improv 401 and wish to take this class, you may enroll now.
