Improv Elective: Breaking Down Sketch to Make us Better Improvisers with Brandon Gardner

The
best compliment an improv team can get is for the audience to not
believe it wasn’t written and rehearsed. Our goal when we improvise is
to create scenes that have as clear, consistent and funny a comedic idea
(The Game of the Scene) as we’d expect from great sketch comedy. In
this class we’ll break down the structure of online sketches and discuss
how we can apply these same comedic ideas to our improv.

Students should have access to a computer and stable, robust internet access, webcam & microphone.

This online course uses Google Classroom and Google Meet programs to
conduct live sessions with your instructor and fellow students.
