|Sessions||8 sessions, 3 hours each|

This is an acting-focused class that will explore organic, emotionally believable scenework with an emphasis on using your own specifics (POV/experiences/ideas) to drive your improv. By pursuing pleasure instead of pain in the scene, you will be more connected to your scene partner and find it easier to play game. We will explore making choices that will matter to your character and make you more invested in your scenes. You will spend less time fighting in scenes and more time playing. We will use the La Ronde form to develop ideas internally and organically, earn the games and then blow them out!
There is NO limit to the number of ASH/ASI classes a UCBLA student can attend in 12 months. The rule listed on the application page is for UCB New York ONLY.
Once you enter your email and confirm your information you are added the the applicant pool.
We will review the applicants and send a notice to those who have been accepted on Wednesday, August 10. Accepted students will be required to pay full tuition by Thursday, August 11.
