Scene Study for The Improviser with John Bowie
"In this class, we’ll take the tools you’ve learned in your time at UCB (listening, heightening, finding the game, honest reactions) and apply them to the contemporary theater. Focusing on the work of either living (e.g. Tony Kushner, Annie Baker, Sarah Ruhl, Tracy Letts) or recently deceased (e.g. Lanford Wilson, Edward Albee, Sam Shepard) playwrights, the course will focus on practical scene work and helping actors stay in the moment even when they know exactly what they’re going to say next."

Class meets at UCB Sunset Training Center; Room #225

IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE THE REFUND POLICY FOR ACADEMY COURSES. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS IF WITHDRAWAL REQUEST IS RECEIVED LESS THAN 1 FULL BUSINESS DAY PRIOR TO THE START OF COURSE.
